Tensile testing machine for finger joints with a cross-section of max. 50 x 260 mm, max. tensile force 450 kN.
Description
Tensile testing machine for checking the quality of finger joints. Tensile testing machines are used to determine the mechanical properties, in particular tensile strength, of finger joints.
Design
The machine consists of the following modules:
Clamping and traction unit, comprising:
- Main support for mechanism
- Base plates for supporting clamping plates
- Clamping plates with special toothing, unhardened, replaceable
- Two guide shafts, hardened and polished
- Two hydraulic hollow cylinders for generating tensile force
- Two hydraulic clamping cylinders for generating clamping force
- Hydraulic fittings for connecting to the hydraulic unit

The specified time until tooth breakage is 300 sec. +/- 120 sec. (3-7 min.) The accuracy of tensile force determination is +/- 3% of the measured value.
Measurements
The test is carried out until rupture or up to a pre-determined force.
Safety devices
conforming to SUVA and CE
- Machine operation
- The machine is operated from a control panel.
- Clamping pressure freely selectable.
- Tensile force freely selectable.
The test can be carried out to a pre-set tensile force or until rupture. The values are shown on the display. A PC can be connected and data recorded (optional).
